hallelujah!

After several months of applying for SEVERAL jobs, my cute Joshua was FINALLY offered a full-time job!! 

YAYYYYYYY!!!!!

We are so happy and so grateful that something has finally worked out! 

We don't know the specifics of the job, or his exact start date just yet, but I feel so incredibly happy and grateful that he will have this opportunity. 

He will be working for Wells Fargo Financial as a Sales Credit Manager.  Banking and finance has always been something that Josh has been interested in, so this position will be a good start for him. 

If law school doesn't work out for us, it is nice to know that he has a good job, with a big company that will have lots of opportunity for growth. 

I am so grateful for my hard working husband and am grateful to my Heavenly Father for answering our prayers!

quick little post!

I thought I would make a quick little post!  It's been a fun few days!  And we've got a lot of fun days ahead of us this week and I knew if I didn't blog about this now, I would have too much to blog about next week!

Anyway, last week I went to the Jazz game with my good friend, Karen, aka, Chochie!  We LOVE the Jazz and we LOVE #26....

It was his birthday on St. Patrick's day and we went to the game on his birthday last year, so we thought we should keep the tradition alive!  We bought from scalpers and wound up on the 14th row!!  Steal of a deal, I tell ya!

We made a similar poster last year, but this year we made it on the jumbtron.  No biggie.

He is definitely the most attractive player in the NBA!

St. Patrick's Day must be this guy's favorite Holiday!

On Sunday we had my birthday dinner with my family and my cute cousins and their significant others came up from BYU for dinner!  I LOVE this girl!!

We went for the Prom pose in this pic...not sure why....And if my cousin's boy looks familiar, he may or may not play basketball for BYU....

I had a blast seeing my cousins.  They are like siblings to me!  It was a fun start to a fun week! 

Keep your fingers crossed for me that I don't have a mid-twenties crisis.  I am so not excited about turning the age I am about to turn.  barf.

But my birthday should be a fun day!  Legally Blonde: The Musical, baby!

And then we are off to sunny St. George for some much needed R & R!!!  Can't wait!

one year ago today....

...Josh told me that he loved me for the first time.

I still remember that moment very well.

We had gone to dinner with my parents, and then he and I went down to The Gateway to play Josh's favorite arcade game: Final Furlong-you know, that horse racing game!

After he beat me several times, we decided to head home. 

As he walked me to the door, we hugged, kissed, talked, etc and after a few minutes, he said something along the lines of, "Allison, there's something I want to tell you.  I am so happy dating you and I love you.  I am so stoked about us and I can see wedding bells in our future."

The moment was perfect and so adorable.  I told him I loved him too, because I knew I did, but had been waiting for him to say it first.  I went inside my house beaming from ear to ear and couldn't stop thinking about how my life was going to change forever!

I will never forget that moment.

A few weeks later, we set a wedding date and called the Salt Lake Temple to reserve a sealing room.  A little over a month later, we were "officially" engaged and married 3 months after that.

Like Colbie and Jason sing, "I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend."

I truly am.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!

Well, at least in my opinion it is!

There is just something about this time of the year that I love!! As soon as March hits, I am instantly in a better mood.

I love that March means Spring is finally on its way and the long, yucky Winter months are behind us. The temperatures start to get a little warmer, it stays light outside a little longer. Ah! I love it!

Even though Summer is hands down my favorite season, this is my favorite time of year-if that makes any sense. I love knowing that most of the cold days are over{hopefully} and I love that it is only a matter of weeks until the trees and flowers start to bloom.

To me, Spring means a fresh start. Everything seems to come back to life and the sun is out a lot more.

It brings me so much joy knowing that Summer is only a few short months away! I just hope we don't have a June like we did last year. yuck!

Anyway, probably my favorite thing about this time of year is that I can purchase these bad boys.....


Yep, the Cadbury Mini Egg! Oh they are heaven! I have loved them for as long as I can remember. My mom always has a bag hidden somewhere in the kitchen this time of year and I have always been able to find them. :)

And I may or may not have consumed an entire large bag in 2 days at work....I have a serious addiction. But they are only around for a small amount of time, so I've got to take advantage, right?? They are delectable! And I've got Josh hooked on them now! go me!

Also, this month is BIRTHDAY month!! YAY!! But I do feel as though I am on the verge of a mid-twenties crisis. I do NOT want to turn the age that I'm about to turn. yikes!
