Spiders

Oh my dear sweet Joshua.

I have come to the conclusion that he is just as afraid of spiders as I am.

And here's why:

About a year ago, Josh sat up in bed in the middle of the night and yelled, "Where's the spider!?!?!"

The rest of the conversation went like this:

Allison:  What spider?  There's not a spider. (Side note:  We live on the top level of our apartment complex so spiders are a rarity)

Josh:  Yes there is!!  It's a huge one and it bit my toe and my toe really hurts!!

Allison:  Babe.  There's not a spider.  Go back to bed.

Josh:  Yes there is.  Feel my toe.  It bit my toe.  There's a huge bump on it!

**I feel his toe.  No bump.**

Josh:  I'm sorry I have to turn the light on and find that spider.  Owe! My toe really hurts!

**He turns the light on.  No spider. We turn the light off, go back to bed and laugh about it the next morning.**

So then this morning about 4 a.m. Josh wakes up and yells, "Ahh!  There's a spider on me!!"

And you guessed it.  There wasn't a spider!

haha!  Bless is heart.  He was afraid it was going to go in his mouth.

I'm thinking one of these days I should put a fake spider in the bed. :)
